Sport Brake Discs

The Zimmermann Sport Brake Disc was developed as a result of experience of brake discs in series-production vehicles in connection with racing. The brake system is optimised by combining high-quality cast materials with a perforated braking surface.
With over 500 different customer references this range covers virtually the entire vehicle population.

Benefits Zimmermann brakes:

Better wet braking performance by permanent expulsion of brake dust and water
Sporty look
Noticeable improvement in the braking power of your car
Prevention of brake fade
Countersinking of holes doubles up as wear indicator
1:1 exchange of original disc possible
no additional adaptions necessary
Not subject to registration: general ABE certification supplied with disc
Because of the anti-corrosion protection Coat Z better finish - especially of the hub and the outer diameter

Formula Z Brake Discs

The Zimmermann Formula Z brake disc was designed with the aim of teaming simple installation with optimum braking effect under high mechanical and thermal load.

The compound brake disc developed by Zimmermann accommodates the increased demands incurred by engine tuning and optimised chassis structures.

Benefit Formula Z Brake Discs:

Excellent deceleration action and no distortion of friction ring at high temperatures
Substantial weight saving and therefore less unsprung mass
Floating mounting enables radial expansion of the brake disc under relatively heavy loads, thus preventing shielding and increasing resistance to heat cracks
"Hot spots" prevented by optimised design of ventilation channels
1:1 exchange of original disc possible
Not subject to registration: general ABE certification supplied with disc
No conversion required for brake tuning
